Ramona (MONIN) Rodriguez, age 63 died in the comfort of her own home while, in the presence of her 6 amazing children on October 20, 2019. After a long courageous fight with cancer.
Ramona was born on August 1, 1956 in New York, NY to Josè and Carmen Rodriguez. She is one of eight children. Ramona was what you called a workaholic and a perfectionist. She had many occupations over her hard strenuous life but the only occupation she would tell everyone was her favorite was being a MOTHER.
Ramona is survived by her 6 children 9 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren and numerous others that had the pleasure to experience her presence.
Besides spending all her time with her kids and the ones she loved, Ramona had a passion for dancing, singing, joking around, cooking, arts and crafts,solving crossword puzzles, music, attending Mark Anthony concerts, watching movies and caring/loving her kids. Ramona had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She impacted so many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Ramona was and always will be loved and remembered as a “FIGHTER!” Those who knew her knew how strong she was as a person.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, October 27th, A Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm followed by a Service from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm at Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 18840 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida 33180 (305) 932-2700. Food and Family gathering following the service will be held at 495 NW 71st Street, Miami, Florida 33150
