It’s so sad knowing of your passing my dear friend, I will forever be grateful for our friendship that started at Suniland Tag Agency until you left Century Village! My heart aches for not seeing you before you left but sometimes we cannot control things. You reached out to me and left me a message about a year ago that I will cherish forever my dear Raquelita! May you rest in peace and will forever be remembered. Love you always! Maria
Que bola!! 😍
I will be forever grateful for the times we visited at Brookdale these past two years. We got to know each other well, and I so enjoyed my time spent with you. Your sweetness and sense of humor as we would laugh reminiscing about the funny things my late dad would say, your stories of growing up, our families, and a host of other things. You loved to visit with my granddaughter Lainey, and my dog Oso and you really loved your milkshakes! These memories I carry in my heart. You were so loved and you will be so missed.
“This is what I ask for you:
That in the darkness, there be a blessing.
That in the shadows, there be a welcome.
That in the night you be encompassed by the LOVE that knows your name.”
Rest in peace, my friend. Eva Meyer
Raquel loved the flag of her beloved country Cuba. She had it on display at the window looking to the front of her apartment so that everyone could see. We all knew about her accomplishments as a businesswoman in the United States and loved sharing time and laughter with her. She will be greatly missed.
Our condolences to Nathan, Alexia and family.
