I most remember being on the tennis patio, with Richard talking and listening about any current events, and with Richard, it was mostly listening.
He had an unmatched wealth of information and history, with all of the very important people he interacted with over the years.
He always contributed positively to our discussions on the tennis patio. And I respected his positions, because most of the time he proved correct.
He always showed up on the tennis court on time, almost never early, but certainly never late with his backpack over his shoulders and eight different colored visors hanging off one of the tennis rackets.
He was my regular tennis doubles partner and we won a lot more matches than we lost.
For the above and so many other things, all of us tennis players at Williams Island, especially me will miss you Richard.
