Our deepest sympathy to all the Dungan family on Dick's passing. In recalling fond memories, we are reminded of Dick's parents extending kindness to our family while our dad worked for them at Palmetto Pump during the 1940's. They located a house and ten acres suitable for our large family of six young children, then financed it for us. We felt so proud many years later when the last $40.00 payment was made.
Mrs. Dungan treated the older girls with sleepovers at her house. We slept in Dicky's room as he must have been away in college. His model airplanes were hanging from the ceiling of the room.
We were blessed to have had them touch our lives!
