ROLTER, Rita Apter, 89. With gratitude for her life, love of family, and fabulous baking skills, the family of Rita Apter Rolter, aka RiRi, is saddened to announce her peaceful passing on June 13, 2016. Born June 10, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA to Claire and Samuel Max Apter. She spent over 30 years at Mount Sinai Medical Center as a Dietician and Manager of the Founders Dining Room. Baker extraordinaire!! “Seldom right-but never wrong!” Beloved wife of the late Albert N. Rolter, loving mother of Laine (Artie) Unger, Sandy (Kenny) Tate, Brook Rolter and the late SSG Douglas N. Rolter, cherished grandmother of Seth Unger and Allison Jaffin, Samantha and Allen Katz, Sascha Unger, Jennifer, Stefanie and Jackie Tate, adored great-grandmother of Jane and Georgia Unger, Elsie and Poppy Katz.
