Robert William Capel IV's Obituary
Robert William Capel IV "Robbie" died on October 25, 2015 in his mother's arms. He was seven years old. Diagnosed at age five with a rare form of sarcoma, he bravely persevered through his many treatments. However medicine and surgery could only do so much. He was a bright light that burned out too soon. He was a sweet and smart boy. Pure love in his heart. He was able to charm everyone he met with his smile and his wit. Among his favorite were Spongebob, Star Wars, Legos, Minions, Dr. Who, Spider-man, Batman and even My Little Pony. He was good at memorizing jokes and making people laugh. He had lots of soft cuddly friends, but his favorite stuffed animal was a puppy he named Wookie-Appa. He enjoyed a good prank. An early reader who liked to rhyme. Some of his favorites were Harry Potter, all comic books, Llama llama series, Miss Spider's Fancy Car and Skippy Jon Jones Adventures. Always curious about science, he was a math whiz who loved his electronics. He helped his grandpa build his first computer at age five. His favorite game was Minecraft. His favorite color was Red and any shade of it, even pink and orange were okay with him. He wanted to grow up to be a firefighter and help save lives. The first lives he saved were ours.
He will be loved eternally in any dimension he travels to. In his final journey he was greeted in heaven by his Maternal Grandfather, Federico Polanco, His Maternal Great Grandparents, Federico and Maria Christina Polanco, His Paternal Great Grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Capel, his great uncle Johnny Capel.
The family remaining on earth that will continue honoring his life are his Parents, Robert and Patricia, his younger brother, Austin. Maternal Grandparents, Todor Parvanov and Patricia Damas. Paternal Grandparents, Robert Capel and Virginia Capel. His aunt and uncle Silvana and Luis Silvestri, their twin daughters, Andrea and Natalia. Not named, but equally meaningful is his extended family around the world that continues to love him and the hundreds of friends that were lucky to know him. He loved you all.
A ceremony will be held at Levitt-Weinstein Chapel in Tamarac on Thursday, October 28th at 12 noon with a loving farewell. Immediately following we will deliver him to his final resting place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Fort Lauderdale.
On Sunday November 1st we will bless his soul at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Coral Springs with a Celebration of Life gathering after the service.
