Robert D Goldstein's Obituary
Robert Dean “Froggy” Goldstein, 82, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. He was a devoted and adoring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Born in Pittsburgh on October 22, 1942, Robert was the son of Lillian and Ed Goldstein. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Goldstein, brother Lee (Linda) Goldstein, children Elysa Roberts, Randee (Corey) Engelhard, Amy (Barry) Wax, Spencer (Angela) Goldstein, Scott (Nancy) Goldstein, 9 grandchildren, mother-in-law, Toni Nathan and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Peabody High School and Youngstown University with a degree in accounting, he was a practicing CPA for 50 years. He loved his heritage and community, serving as President of the Miami Beach JCC from 1991-1992.
Robert was a natural athlete. He loved running, completing the New York City Marathon in 1988. He was an avid golfer and cyclist, enjoying long distance riding to Sebring, Mt. Dora and the Keys with his biking buddies. He and Nancy would also spend summers at their home on Beech Mountain, entertaining and living the mountain lifestyle. He loved when the children and grandchildren would visit. Summers were special. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
The funeral of Robert Goldstein will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg Rubin Zilbert Memorial Chapel, Located at 18840 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33180 . (305)-932-2700.
