Robert Perlmutter

Robert was a legend and hero to his family, and he spent his life loving and caring for them. He was a lifelong philanthropist who was kind to strangers.
Robert built an industry where people loved and respected him. With an open heart, kindness, respect, and wisdom, Robert created his legacy business – Pearl Paint – a national chain of art supply stores begun in New York in 1953. He was honored with a doctorate in Commercial Science.
At his passing, Robert was surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by wife Rosalind Perlmutter and children, Darren, Aliya (Ryan Schilt), Ari, Zachary, Elana, Steven (Nora), and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, November 10 at 3:30 p.m.

Shiva will be observed after services, Thursday evening, and Friday from 1 – 5 p.m. at the family home: 50 Bay Colony Lane, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
