Dr. Rosalind Lehrman's Obituary
Today, February 23, 2017, we lost our beloved Dr. Rosalind Lehrman. She spent her life caring for her countless students, and always in service to others. She is survived by her her mother, Rebbetzin, Belle Lehrman and her brother, Dr. David Lehrman, nephews Michael Lehrman, Richard (Sheila) Lehrman, Robbie Lehrman, Steven (Aleida) Lehrman, and great nephews Jonathan Lehrman, Mathew Lehrman, Adam Lehrman, Joshua Lehrman, Daniel Lehrman, Bryan Lehrman, and great niece, Alexis Lehrman. The daughter of Rabbi Irving Lehrman, she grew up at the temple her parents founded, and served as the Gabbai for Temple Emanu-El, which she loved to do, and where she was honored for doing so this past April. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Dr. Rosalind Lehrman be made to Temple Emanu-El, www.tesobe.org, Miami Jewish Health Systems, www.miamijewishhealthsystems.org/donate or Lehrman Community Day School, www.lehrmanschool.org Services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Emanu-El, 1701 Washington, Avenue, Miami Beach. All are welcome to come celebrate her life in the temple she loved and called her second home. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
