This is a picture of me when I was Mrs. Singer’s Kindergarten student. She gave me my first “Broadway” shot giving me the solo "The Sun will come out tomorrow" which started my love for theater. She was my favorite teacher to this day and I will always love and remember her. RIP
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Singer. She was and still is my favorite teacher. To say that she was *the* perfect kindergarten teacher would be an understatement. She was kind, loving, and attentive. She soothed my separation-anxiety-style tantrums those first few months of kindergarten by giving me Rice Krispies with Sweet 'n Low. It made all the difference!
My guess is that there are 35 years' worth of Hillel students who could sing, "Memories...of kindergarten at Hillel...we learned reading, writing, aaaaadding. And we learned to spell." It would be many, many years before I learned that those were not the actual words to that song.
I know that Mrs. Singer is loved and that she will be missed.

“Mrs. Singer” taught kindergarten to all my three daughters. She was a teacher’s teacher and an amazing, warm person. My kids loved her and didn't want to be promoted to first grade. They, and I will always remember this great lady. RIP THE MAZOR FAMILY
