GUTSTEINRudolph 91, of Bay Harbor Islands, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2012. Born in Poland, Rudy came to New York City when he was six years old and lived there until 1954 when he moved with his young family to Florida. Beloved husband of Elaine Gutstein, his devoted wife of 68 years. Proud father of Steven (Jackie Tabbert) Gutstein of Bradenton, FL, Edward (Kathryn) Gutstein of Woodland Hills, CA, and Russell (Robin) Gutstein of Aventura, FL, and caring brother of Julius Goodstein, Pembroke Pines, Fl. He was a veteran of WWII, an avid fisherman and a loyal fan of the Miami Marlins. Rudy will always be remembered for his quick wit and humor. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Villa Maria Nursing Center and the dedicated hospice team for their compassionate and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Villa Maria Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, September 10th at Mt. Nebo Kendall 5900 SW 77th Ave., Miami.
