I will always remember Mom for her storytelling, and joke telling; what a memory she had! She was always concerned about everyone else before herself. I feel blessed that I had her in my life for almost 61 years. She touched the lives of everyone she ever met. My husband and my sons will have lasting memories of her. She got pleasure out of making other people smile. All of my friends Mom met will truly miss her and her stories. I will continue to collect and turn in pop can tabs to McDonald's in honor of you Mom. You will remain forever in our hearts, and we will miss you more than words can say. Good bye Mom; we know that you are an angel in heaven now, and someday we will meet again for more jokes and laughter. We Love you, and will never forget you!!!! Rest in peace, our angel.

Ruthie was such an inspiration to us. What a beautiful human being! We will always remember Ruthie at Temple Beth Tov/Ahavat Shalom. Especially how she would walk across each isle to greet us, & have a special message to say to each & everyone of us. Thank you, Ruthie, you were a wonderful gift to us all!

For over 40 years we were blessed to call Ruthie our friend. Her presence at SMH along with many of the nurses that loved her, made her volunteering friendship a lasting task. Her charitable work at Temple Zion Israelite Center gave her a bundle of friends as did her many friends at our new shule, Temple Beth Tov, where she was a constance source of happiness with her great smile and kind words to all. Always wanting to help others, we were proud and happy to be her friend who taught us much about what life is all about. Yes, Mary Lou and I will miss our dear friend. Rest in Peace.... we love you.

Dear Ruth: I will always cherish knowing you and will strive to live by your example. Your dog, Daisy, and I will miss your company, and she will remind me daily of the seven years and many memories we were so lucky to share. I learned to play mahjong after I began driving Ruth to the Senior Lift Center for games with Virginia Goodson and others. The last time Ruth and I played was on Wednesday, September 25th, in her room at the nursing home. We played 3 games, she won 2 of them. We kept a record; we played 587 games together! I've posted a few photos that I took with Ruth and some of her family and friends over the years. The kids in our neighborhood will miss us this Halloween! Rest in peace, dear Ruth. I love you.
