Sadye was an elegant woman beloved by all that met her. She spent her life fostering a goal of making the lives of her family, friends, and even strangers, happier.
Sayde and her late husband, Alfred, were prime movers in the creation and maintenance of the Talmudic University of Miami Beach. The University’s original main campus was named the “Sayde and Alfred Talmudic University.” She was a woman with no prejudices, believing that a life spent treating others with love and compassion was a life well lived. She received numerous awards. She was most proud of the numerous “Women of Valor” Awards that she received through her lifetime from schools and charities. She is survived by her sons Leonard (Betty) Kornreich and Gerald (Chinya) Kornreich. Her son David (Linda) predeceased her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Her grandchildren, Kevin, Craig (Dana), Jennifer (David), Amber, Adam, Brandon, Brent (Lisa), Yanina, and Zoe will always remember the never-ending love and care that she bestowed on them. Also her niece, Roslyn (Larry) and nephew David (Candy) Muhlrad and their families were a continued source of light for her.
