Samuel Jasny's Obituary
Sam Jasny (Mula) was born in Sosnowiecz, Poland. He was a generous soul – a true gentleman who loved his family and friends. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. A survivor of the Holocaust, he established a family and roots after emigrating to America. He was happily married to Lola Slupovska for 35 years and with her had two sons Max and Henry. He worked in a factory but saved money to buy his own wine shop. After suffering Lola’s loss, he found love and strength in his second marriage to Pola Newhouse. In that he gained two more sons, Mark and Jeff, and many more grandchildren who brought him a lot of joy. He was kind and loving to his many friends and a devoted supporter of Israel, which he visited often. He enjoyed his retirement in Florida and the wonderful community and family he found here. In his final years, Benieve Clark devoted herself to his care. He considered her presence a blessing as she considered his. He passed peacefully in his home on December 10th. He is survived by his sons and grandchildren Lorien, Micah, Lila, Sydney, Sarah, Kevin, Josh, and Keith.
