Samuel Jurkevich's Obituary
JURKEVICH, SAMUEL passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the age of 78. Samuel was born in Havana, Cuba and moved to New York in his early 20's, where he met his beloved wife Lily. They married in 1968 and moved to Miami Beach in 1978 so Samuel could successfully expand his hardware business into Latin America. He was the loving husband of Lily Jurkevich, father to Lynn (Barry) Cohen and Alex (Patty) Jurkevich, and brother to Luis (Dorana) Jurkevich. He was a wonderful grandfather to Jared, Paige, Mitchell and Jeffrey. Samuel's endearing personality and his willingness to always do anything and everything for others, will live in our hearts forever. Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 720 71st Street, Miami Beach, FL 33141, (305) 538-6371.
