Sandra Charlotte Jarkow's Obituary
Jarkow, Sandra, 82, of Aventura (and Miami Beach), FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 after succumbing to a stroke. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Emil and Rose Tepper and sister of Albert. Sandy graduated from Lafayette High School in Bensonhurst. She was the loving wife of Bertram Jarkow (pre-deceased), mother of Mitchel Jarkow (pre -deceased), Jeff Jarkow (Debra Zane), and Jill Garrett (John). Sandy was a vivacious, curious, gentle soul and the loving grandmother of Jarett (Stephanie), Alyssa, Ben, Amy, Stephanie, Samantha, Johnny, and Jake and great-grandmother of Ava, Blake, Anthony, Jacen and Rylan. She was a property manager and real estate agent on Miami Beach and Aventura, and most recently a member of the board of directors of Biscaya Condominium Association where she lived and sold apartments for nearly 20 years. Happy to share her opinion on the current state of our nation Sandy was a passionate consumer of all news media. She loved theater, travel, movies, fine (and not so fine) food, and her many cherished and devoted friends. Services will be held on Sunday, March 25th at Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 720 71st Street, Miami Beach, FL 33141 at 10 a.m. after which Sandy will be laid to rest at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172.
