Sandra Lee Powers
Sandi Powers was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1948, the daughter of Herman and Dorothy Stein. She attended the University of Miami and worked in fashion most of her life. Sandi got her Masters in Social Work in 1992 and helped to counsel people with drug and alcohol addiction. In 1994, she joined her husband Jerry Powers as the Fashion Editor of his publication, Ocean Drive magazine, where she worked until its sale in 2008. In later years, Sandi retired by the side of her beloved husband Jerry, who passed away in June 2020 from cancer. Sandi is survived by her daughter Jacquelynn Powers, grandchildren Hannah and Henri Maurice, son-in-law Romain Maurice, sister Chickie Loewenstein, sister-in-law Roz Sanders, brother-in-law Jed Sanders and many cousins.
