Sharyn Collins' Obituary
Sharyn Collins, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Sharyn was born on October 22, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Dominion College of Business in 1965 and later relocated to Miami in the 1970s, where she made her home for many years. She was predeceased by her adoring husband, Robert Collins, with whom she shared 45½ loving years of marriage. Sharyn’s devotion to Robert was the great love of her life and remained at the center of her heart. Sharyn is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Scott) Neeman. As well as Greg (Suzette) Collins, Brent (Heidi) Collins, Matthew (Lisa) Collins, James (Lori) Lundh, Laura Pesch and Steven Maloney. She will be fondly remembered for her sweet, nurturing nature, impeccable manners, and gentle spirit, touched with a hint of naïveté and a flair for the dramatic. Sharyn loved her cats deeply and never missed an episode of General Hospital. She found joy in entertaining, playing Trivial Pursuit, going out to dinner, attending concerts, and embracing life with a youthful, fun-loving heart. In honor of Sharyn’s compassionate spirit, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org, her charity of choice. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Memorial Chapel. 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
