Sherman Jack Kronick's Obituary
Sherman Kronick passed away on March 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Bernice. He is survived by sons Gary and Joseph, Gary’s wife Sandra, and Marta, the wife of Ronald, Bernice and Sherman’s youngest son, who passed away in 2015 at the age of 59. He is also survived by his grandchildren Stephanie, Jessica, Rebecca, Hadley, and Alexander, and great-granddaughters Zoey, Julia, and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his brother Sidney and sister Gertrude. Sherman was born in New York City but brought up in Bridgeport, CN. He served as an aerial gunner for the Marines in World War II, earning several citations. He married Bernice in 1950. They made a home in the Bronx before moving to New Rochelle in 1958 and North Miami Beach in 1969. He was an executive for First National, a building company in New York and then spent 25 years with the Lennar Corp. as V.P. until his retirement in 2002. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who valued family above all else. He will be sorely missed. A Chapel Service will be held Friday, March 22 at 12:00 noon at Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
