Shirley C. Altaire's Obituary
Shirley C. Altaire, 96, of Cooper City passed away March 1, 2023. She was the loving mother of David, Melanie, Sidonie and son-in-law Tim and loving grandmother of Benjamin and Alexander. Shirley was born to Phillip and Fannie Chazin in Philadelphia, PA. She was one of eight children and she is also survived by her younger brother David and many beloved nieces and nephews. Shirley retired from Eastern Airlines and spent many years volunteering and participating at the Cooper City Senior Center. She loved playing Mahjong, Dominoes and attending the monthly lunches for the seniors. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening. Shirley was also known for her infectious laugh and love of sweets. She will be deeply missed by all her family.
