My heart is heavy with Shirley’s passing. One of the kindest and most compassionate people I have had the privilege of knowing. Shirley was my moms closest friend since high school. A relationship that thrived for over 70 years. I will miss Shirley who was part of our family. We were together for so many great occasions. Shirley never forgot my birthday and I always looked forward to the card and phone call I would receive. I will miss picking you up on the way to my mom to celebrate another holiday or family event. I will always remember our private conversations. Your advice was always spot on. Shirley set a great example of what it takes to be a loving and caring person. If everyone was like Shirley the world would be a better place. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Shirley I can never thank you enough for the love you showed to me and my family. You truly will be missed but never forgotten.
