Shirley L. Kristal's Obituary
KRISTAL, SHIRLEY L. nee Dorfman, passed away on December 18, 2017. She leaves her loving husband, Jerry Kristal. Shirley celebrated her 51st wedding anniversary in May of this year. She will be greatly missed. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and was among the first generation in her family to be born in this country. Here she attended school and graduated high school at number 17th in a class of over 500 students. Upon graduation, she entered the working world, rising to be the aide for an actuary. They studied agricultural crop risks of all kinds over the whole country and set the prevailing insurance rates. Shirley also married and became a housewife. As time moved on, she retired and moved to Miami with her husband. That was in 1976. They lived and prospered here in comfort and in a loving home. A funeral celebrating the life of Shirley Kristal will be held December 28, at the Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 18840 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida. There will be a viewing at 3:00 pm. It will be followed by a service at 4:00 pm. The chapel's telephone is (305) 932-2700. Interment will be in Chicago, close to those of her many dear relatives, and dear life long friends.
