ACKERMAN
Stanley, 86, passed away peacefully on 4/15/14 in Hollywood after suffering a stroke. Stanley spent the last 38 years living in South Florida with his family, having moved from Delray Beach to Hollywood five years ago to be closer to his loving family. Stanley will be truly missed by his loving and beloved wife Elaine after almost 60 years of marriage, by his children Rand (Lucero) Ackerman, Sherri (Drew) Pickard and Brad (Melissa) Ackerman. Stanley was the proud grandfather of six. He was PAPA to Brian (Jennifer), Kevin (Vickki), Lauren (Kim), Alexa, Maxie and Roxy. He is predeceased by his adoring parents, Sam and Frieda Ackerman and his sister Lorraine (Norman) Plasker. Stan also leaves his baby brother Howie (Arlene) Ackerman and sister & brother-in-law Haze (O) Giannico, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and dear, dear friends. He loved playing cards, listening to Al Jolson, a really good brisket and being with his family. He will be forever in our hearts.
