Stanley Angel's Obituary
Stanley Angel, a legend in the Miami legal community, died suddenly on Friday,December 23, 2016. Born in Brooklyn on June 4, 1933 to Sylvia and Harry Angel, he moved to Miami Beach in 1949. Stanley graduated from Beach High, was a Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Florida and earned his law degree at the University of Miami.
Known for his extraordinary joke telling, his skills as an attorney were never a laughing matter. He was known as a perfectionist who dotted every “i” and crossed every “t”. During his more than 50 years as a member of the Florida Bar he mentored many young lawyers.
After retiring he enjoyed golf, cooking, playing piano, and traveling with Della (especially to Las Vegas). He is survived by "the love of his life" Della Salzberg Berry, his children: Eric, (Debby), Allison, Andrea, and Adam, his grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Jonathan, Nathaniel and Tiffany and his first wife Sandy Herman.
His smiling blue eyes will forever twinkle in the hearts of his family and many friends.
