October 2019, Steve and I met at the airport in Ireland and drove together to the village for Mike & Kristin’s wedding. I was grateful Steve took the wheel—the countryside roads were so narrow they looked like one-way lanes, at least until a lorry came barreling straight toward us. Steve stayed calm the whole way, no accidents, and we made it to the village safely—though I am sure we each had few extra grey hairs!
