Dr. Stuart Alan Courtney's Obituary
Dr. Stuart Courtney passed away at the age of 76. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Tova; 4 children: Lisa (Eduardo), Daniel (Jessica), Jonathan (Shira), and Michael (Devora); and 11 grandchildren (Asher, Sammy, Lily, Lucy, Rafi, Libby, Ethan, Moses, Benny, Aiden, and Shaya). Stuart was born and raised in New York City, an only child to Richard and Frieda. He met Tova and the couple decided to move to Hollywood, Florida in 1977. A podiatrist who practiced for 50 years, Stuart devoted his life to his family, friends, and community. He was a true leader, having served terms as the President of the Young Israel of Hollywood and the Broward County Podiatric Medical Association. Stuart was known for his countless acts of chessed. Among his numerous hobbies, he loved to play chess and piano, go Israeli dancing, and attend Miami Dolphins home games (despite his reputation for making good decisions). He was known for his excellent sense of humor. Stuart will be missed by his many loved ones.
