in honor of Stuart.

I am regretfully now just finding out about Stuart's passing several years after the fact here in 2025, after trying to look him up again on Facebook.

When I moved to New York City in 1987 from California, I registered as a word processor with Continental Staffing where Stuart was a recruiter. Stuart placed me temporarily with one of his fine clients when I was really needing to get busy working. During some of my last years in New York some years later, Stuart again placed me with another fine client when I was needing employment.

I distinctly remember him also having a good sense of humor. Since my very first days of working with him, I have always had only the utmost respect for him being the professional that he was.

Together we created one of Stu's finest achievements in his life. We shared 17 years of married life together, both the wonderful times and the not so wonderful times. He worked hard every day of his life to better himself and reached that wonderful point in his life when he could tell the world that he was proud of who he had become. He was a nurturing and kind man. He was a protective and loving father and was proud to know that he could embarrass his daughter in front of her friends, at the drop of a hat :).
He was a clown who loved to love and loved to be loved. You will always hold a very special place in my heart, Stubob.

in honor of Stuart.

Although I only met Stuart sometime in May on Plenty of Fish, we had so much in common. We both lived at 85 Fourth Avenue in Manhattan. He was there before I moved in, in 1977 til I moved down here in 1998. We talked and texted quite a bit and finally met the day after my birthday, June 12th (the day of that horrible tragedy in Orlando). He brought me such colorful beautiful bbright flowers that are still alive and sitting in my living room, where we both watched the Tony awards that night. His passing has a come as quite a shock, as it has to everyone I am sure. Last we spoke he was worried about two friends suffering from cancer and said he wasn't feeling to good either.......life is short.........may he RIP. My brief moment with him is still vivid in my memory. Just wanted to share this and also the fact that he was so looking forward to being with his daughter for the birth of her first child and his grandchild....my heart goes out to the family. And, thank you to his friend Robbi for texting me last night about his passing.
