Sylvia Berger's Obituary
Sylvia Berger (nee Pinsky), 94, a longtime resident of Sunrise, Florida, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Sylvia was the youngest of three children born to the late Harry and Sarah Pinsky. She was raised in Atlantic City, NJ and attended Atlantic City High School. Sylvia moved to Philadelphia with the love of her life husband (married 70 years!), Morton Berger, where they raised their children and then relocated to Sunrise, Fl. She spent the last few years in Woodbury, NJ, close to her sons. Sylvia is survived by her children and their spouses, William (Debra) Berger and Barry (Stephanie) Berger. grandchildren Scott (Orinda), Jennifer, Chloe, Aaron, Jordan and Hallie, great grandchildren Kai and Gareth, and several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by her late devoted husband Morton Berger, daughter Susan Smith and brothers Hyman Pinsky and Charles Pinsky.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2 pm (arrive at 1 pm) at Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Fl immediately followed by burial at Beth David Memorial Gardens (same address).
