Thelma Blumenthal 's Obituary
Thelma Blumenthal of Hollywood, FL passed with dignity on July 29, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and friends. Born on August 12th, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA, she was raised by her parents Norman and Jennie Peckerman in Atlantic City, NJ. Shortly after WW!!, she met her future husband Morton Blumenthal and it was love at first sight. Over their 55 year marriage they lived in Atlantic City, NJ, Elberon, NJ and then Hollywood, FL. She is survived by her daughters Wanda Erb (Phil), Vicki Burnstein, Lisa Horwitz (Steven), her son Joel Blumenthal (Jackie), her grandchildren Andrea Clegg, Nicole Horwitz, Jackson Burch, Ethan Burch, Max Blumenthal and her great grandchild Audrey Clegg. Her memory will influence all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Doral, FL on Wednesday, August 1st at 11:30 am. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3pm to 9pm and on Thursday from noon to 9pm at the residence of Vicki Burnstein 4001 Hillcrest Drive. For those wishing to make a donation in her honor the family recommends the Broward Public Library Foundation located at 100 South Andrews Avenue Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
