I can’t believe after numerous tries I’ve finally found our dear Sister Thelma!
We share the bond of getting our 50 year pin at the same meeting. We also celebrated her 90th birthday with a cake, etc at our stated meeting. Several of us had tried to reach her on all the phone numbers, but no luck! We tried obits, but no luck. And then today I found our dear Sister Thelma as having passed on Dec 31, 2018.
Sister Thelma joined Lakeside Chapter #271 on June 4, 1964 and even after her stroke she got active as an Officer!!! We were like family to her. I just can’t believe someone didn’t pick up our Lakeside #271 Membership Roster and call us.
At least now we will have closure knowing where she is.
We all loved and missed you, Sister Thelma. Now you are at rest.
