Thelma "Kappy" Modist 93 of Boca Raton, FL. formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL. passed away on May 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Modist; loving mother of Scott (fiancé Carolina Cardenas); predeceased by son Mark Modist; loving daughter in law Doris Modist; predeceased by daughter in law Debra Modist; cherished grandmother of 3 Justin, Jackie and Mathew; adored nieces and nephews Nancy (Tim) Glassman, Vickie Mills and Paul Cowan; dear cousins Steven Silverman and Irwin Kaplan. Funeral services will be held 12noon on Friday May 19, 2017 at Beth David Memorial Gardens Hollywood, FL.
