Thelma Glassman Penn, of Boston, Massachusetts and Davie, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 98, of natural causes. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a beloved friend to many.
Born Thelma Glassman, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Penn, whom she loved deeply, and her dear sister, Dolores Gropper. She is survived and will be truly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Phyllis Glassman; her three children, Geraldine Brodie (Marshall Mack), Hope Kaller (Joseph), and Scott Penn (Claudia); and her treasured grandchildren: Josh Brodie (Paulina), Jessica Weisser (Kevin), Rocky Kaller (Judy), and Michael Penn (Rachel).
Thelma also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren: Leo, Jake, Maya, Gianna, Wesley, Samuel, Celestina, and Millie, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She will also be missed by her loving nieces and nephews.
Thelma had a vibrant spirit and a zest for life. She loved golf and proudly won many tournaments at her club. She enjoyed dancing and singing, and her warmth and laughter filled every room she entered. Above all else, her greatest love was her family. She was kind, devoted, and endlessly supportive, and she was deeply adored by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be private. Shiva for friends and family will be held as follows:
• Monday and Tuesday at 5:00 PM at the Brodie residence for Mincha/Maariv services, located at 3802 NE 207th St., Apt. 904, Aventura, FL 33180.
• Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the Kaller residence, located at 3650 N. 36th Ave., Villa #7, Hollywood, FL 33021.
Thelma’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.
