Tommy E Pedowitz's Obituary
On Sunday, October 11, Tom (Tommy) Edward Pedowitz, MD, of Tamarac, FL. Devoted father of Gale Pedowitz Fagan; loving brother of Barry Pedowitz. Tom was a polymath and scholar. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. As a student at Brooklyn College, Tom met Barbara Silverberg, his future wife and lifelong friend. Tom continued his study at the Institute for French Civilization and Culture at the University of Paris, Sorbonne. After receiving a BS in Pharmacy from Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, Tom studied medicine at Universidad del Noreste, Tampico and graduated with an MD from Universidad CETEC in Santo Domingo. He returned to New York to pursue practice in Pediatrics and work in Pharmacy. After retiring, he moved to San Jose, CA. In 2005, he moved to Florida to be with his family. We'll miss you, Dah.
