Literally just found out from Jasmine S. and Fabiano. I'm so devastated to hear this. Yair was a pivotal colleague in my career and at that crazy time of life when career and kids and family was just taking off. A same-age brother in arms, a soldier in the trenches at a high growth tech startup ( WWRE) where a bunch of very smart ( and he was among the very smartest) people were assembled to change the Global Retail & Consumer goods industry with technology. Yair, Myself and Nihat Arkan were so close in 2001-2006 when all that kicked off. We helped each other, competed with each other and commiserated with each other on a daily basis in a sales and business development team forging brand new ground. Yair and I both made our very first sale of the technology to healthcare life sciences companies at the exact same time and cut our teeth in the commercial world together. We learned so much from each other and the rest of the young yuppie team there that we lovingly stay in tough with to this day. When we all went our separate ways after the exit of the business I was proud to watch the career trajectories and progress of everyone involved and Yair's journey to Chester in the UK and back to the USA to spearhead the Lumina business. It wan't long ago in mid August we were chatting on WhatsApp and sharing more fun stories and Stephen Wright quotes. Adela and family I'm so sorry to hear this news and for your loss. Massive massive hugs! Yair was a sweet sweet soul and passionate and inspiring in his drive and global citizenship. I'm glad I was able to share those mad 5 years of our early 30s and learn so much from him and have so much to look back on and be proud of and how it shaped our paths ahead.
