Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, June 25, 2015, in Hollywood, FL. Beloved wife for 67 years of Morris Deckelbaum, loving and devoted mother to Gordon (Deborah), Linda (Lawrence), Joan (Bob) and Carol (Stephen). Cherished Bubbie to grandchildren Bradley, Geoffrey (Brenda), Sara, Jessica (Dave), Gillian (Phil), Allie, Hannah, Rachel, Jamie, Andrea, and William, and great-grandchildren Abbey, Lauren and Kayla. She will also be missed by many family members including sister Ida, sisters-in-law Fay and Freda, and brother-in-law Joe. Special thanks to her caregivers Verona and Jeanette.
Yetta’s greatest joy was bringing people together, which she did with ease and grace her entire life. She instilled in all of us the importance of family, a legacy that will endure forever.
Funeral service at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 NW 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL on Sunday June 28 at 12pm. Services at her home, Sunday through Wednesday at 7pm. Shiva visitation is Monday through Wednesday from 2-4pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Temple Sinai of Hollywood, FL.
