Fannie "Faige" Goodman

Fannie “Faige” Goodman, 99, was a caring mother to Candace Muhlrad, grandmother to Mark (Ashleigh) Muhlrad, Rachel (Ari) Schuster, and great-grandmother to Joseph, Samuel, Zachary, Matthew, Joshua, and Robert. She passed peacefully on November 20, 2021. She was born to Rose and Jacob Pekarsky on October 2, 1922. She was raised in Rockford, Illinois and was involved in supporting the growth of the Jewish community in Northern Illinois. She was married to her husband Harry Goodman for 47 years. They moved from Rockford to St. Petersburg, Florida and ultimately settled in Miami Beach in 1974. Fannie enjoyed spending time with her family and large circle of friends. She was deeply connected to Jewish causes and traditions and supported many Jewish organizations locally and in Israel. She loved to read and travel and tell stories about her trips and experiences abroad. She was always dressed elegantly with matching accessories and she turned heads and made people smile everywhere she went. Services were held.
