Yes Alan was kind generous and so sweet natured he always found the best in others. I remember family celebrations when Janice Alan and little Erica would join us for Passover and Thanksgiving in Atlanta. Those were such grand times when Erica would play with her cousins David and Emma under a big oak tree in our front yard feed the ducks and horses and take walks with us. Alan always had a ready hug and lap to sit on. Its with sorrow I write this knowing those good times are past but his memory lives on for me my 2 sons and their families. Celia Gilner.
