Barbara was my brother's mother-in-law. I came upon this site by accident while looking for info about the recently deceased Yiddish singer Claire Barry. Barbara's daughter, Stacey Wevrick, became my sister-in-law in 1982, when I was still a small child (LOL). Actually I met Stacey when I was about 12 years old, so I guess I knew Barbara for at least 30 years (probably a little more than that). She was a wonderful lady but I didn't have the opportunity to to share times and experiences with her outside of Stacey and Allen's wedding (of course), some holiday get togethers in Long Island, and the funeral of Norman, her beloved husband. But the love and respect and admiration in which she is so obviously held by so many friends, relatives, etc shows what a great lady she was.
