Barbara Mashin's Obituary
Barbara Mashin
October 9th, 1931 - November 16th, 2014
"Bubbie Bobbie" born in Brooklyn, NY to Kate and Abe Goldberg, baby sister to Sheila (Gabel) and Harriet (Aaronson).
We all thought she would be around to make us smile and laugh and bring us joy like no one else could...for many many years to come.
We are saddened beyond words at the loss of our beautiful Bubbie..
EVERYONE who met her...even just once was immediately in love with her warm smile and her incredible sense of humor.
She made everyone feel like they were the only one that mattered to her..
She saw no difference in religion race or creed..and loved all "her children" unconditionally...
Married in 1974 to the love of her life, Normie (died 1997) she and her only daughter Stacey became a family of 5 beautiful girls.
For the past 21 years she's been blessed by sharing her life with Gladys..her daughter and best friend....and Robyn...her niece who was her "7" daughter.
She is survived by:
Her adoring daughters, Stacey (Allen), Gladys, Susie (Joel), Laurie (Mike), Nancy (Michael), Gayle (Jackson).
She was a devoted Aunt to her Florida family -
Robyn and Allan Laufer, Cory and Alicia Laufer, Craig and Alissa Laufer, Michael Gabel and his daughter Mikayla.
Her beloved grandchildren are: Danny, Peter, Adam, Joey, Eric, Stephen, Ryan, Stephanie and Andrew.. Juan Carlos, Lisa, Eduardo and Linda, Lisette and Edward.
Her precious great grand babies are: Allyson, Jayson, Brianna, Juan, Eddie, Christian, Dominic, Marissa and Jayden.
Her great great grand babies are: Ethan, Gavin, Katie, Vivi and Amare.
And the one who will miss her the most...her doggie Cosmo.
There are no words to describe the emptiness that will be felt by her children, grand babies, great grand-babies and even great great grand-babies. Our world will never be the same and our hearts will tick...but they will remain broken forever more.
Rest in peace mommie...we love you.
