Carol Seidman's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and psychologist Dr. Carol Ann Seidman and celebrate all that she was. She passed away on June 18, 2025 at 9:08 p.m. surrounded by her loving family that mirrored the love that she so freely gave.
Carol was the embodiment of strength and compassion. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. She was a wise counselor and the heart of our family. She was the matriarch in every sense of the word. She had a warmth that made all feel safe and seen. Her wisdom echoed in every corner of our lives, shaping us, comforting us and grounding us.
Carol was a born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and she graduated with a degree in education from Temple University. She taught children until she became a mother herself. She took on the role of a full time mother with relish until her children were old enough. Then she returned to school and obtained a doctorate in psychology. She worked alongside of her beloved husband, Dr. Stanley Seidman for forty years counseling hundreds of people bettering their lives through her compassionate guidance.
As Carol reunites with her late husband Stan, she is survived by her children, Sherri Simpson, Marci Strauss (Gus Hernandez), Michael Simpson (Jennifer Simpson) and Traci Seidman (Sam Gravett) and her grandchildren Rachael Strauss Furguson (Shane Ferguson) Danielle Strauss, Rebecca Strauss, Joelle Simpson, Gabriel Simpson, Zachary Simpson, Benjamin Simpson and Laurel Golik (Daniel Golik). Last but not least, there is Baby, Carol’s mini bernedoodle who has brought the perfect combination of chaos and love to her life.
The service honoring Carol’s life will be held on June 22, 2025 at Levitt Weinstein 12:00 p.m. Levitt Weinstein 3201 NW 72 Ave. Hollywood, Florida 33024.
