Connie Michelle Ashey's Obituary
Connie M. Ashey 49 of Cooper City Florida passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2015. She was born in Queens NY the only daughter of Harvey and Elaine Liftin. Connie was a graduate of Florida State University and Florida International University. She obtained her Specialist Degree at Barry University. She taught for over 10 years in Miami-Dade County before taking time to raise her children whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed reading, animals and traveling, but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by: her beloved husband Daniel Ashey of Cooper City, cherished parents Harvey and Elaine Liftin of Weston Fl, loving children Sarah Ashey of New York, Christopher Ashey and Colby Ashey, a devoted sister in law of Dana (Theresa) Ashey, Dean (Rhonda) Ashey, Dennis (Diane) Ashey, and she is the adored aunt of Raeann Stratton, Ryan Ashey, Dana Ashey, great aunt of Basil, Thomas, Reid and Allison Stratton,
a dear niece of Barry (Fran) Liftin and great niece of Murray Nanes.
