I attended Baldwin Wallace College with David, was his teammate on the football team,, fraternity brother, and roommate. David and I shared many laughs and good times in college. We played a mean game of bridge as partners {David taught me the game} we were on the fraternity rowing team together, we worked together in the Lambda Chi Alpha kitchen, and enjoyed each others company tremendously. I loved David and the memories we shared are precious.. David will be remembered by me as a loyal, sincere, and deep friend. He was truly a prince among men. Richard Stanzi, [email protected]
David had such positive energy, always the life of the party. He was also kind and thoughtful. A great example is when we were meeting them at a resort on the Mexican Riveria. Our plane was delayed for several hours and our friends were almost as grumpy as we. We had made reservations at a gourmet restaurant and were dismayed when we realized the restaurant would be closed when we arrived. As we got off the bus, David and Roma were a glorious sight, not only because we hadn't seen them for awhile but because of the refreshing tray of cocktails David brought to welcome us. Somehow he cajoled the restaurant manager and workers to stay open. Our travel woes were quickly forgotten. We had the place to ourselves and it was the beginning of a perfect vacation.
I am so sorry I never got to play bridge with David. I know it would have been great fun!
David, thank you for being so good to Roma. Our family gatherings will not be the same without you. You will always be remembered and missed. Love you, bro!
