Dorothy Helen DeNoia's Obituary
Dorothy Helen DeNoia, 93, passed away on June 3, 2017. She was born in New York City; the daughter of Gussie and Julius Lowenstein. Dorothy moved to North Miami Beach in 1958, where she raised her children. She worked for the North Miami Beach Police Department for over 20 years and was active in the National Jewish Hospital, the North Miami Beach Womens club, and the Lions club. She believed in giving charitably of both her money and her time to help those that were less fortunate. She was a loving mother to Lois Wexler and James DeNoia, a nurturing grandmother to Genie Wexler Mancini, Cathy Wexler Schwartz, Michael DeNoia, and Jacob DeNoia. A doting great-grandmother to Logan Wexler Hill and Braden Schwartz. She will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her. Chapel service 1 p.m. Monday, June 5 at Levitt Weinstein, 18840 W.
