Michael Sharkey
Since 1952 I was one of the Surfside students at both Ida M Fischer junior high school & MBHS who spent plenty of time with Larry both in school and traveling long distances on both the school bus & the city bus back and forth to school. We also spent plenty of time in Surfside throwing a football around and just hanging out. Together with other Surfside students, we rode our bikes up to Bakers Holouver hanging out at the docks and always talking to Larry's father who ran a fancy charter fishing boat. Many of the times over the years when I came to the Miami area visiting family or going to school functions I usually managed to have lunch with Larry and just catch up on what we were all doing. For sure time flies all these memories seem like they actually happened yesterday. Rest in peace.
