The greeting was always the same from Howard;
humanitarian, friend----trusted by all.
i will never forget the kindness he showed me and the example he set.
His banter with Rae was priceless. How lucky are his children to have had a father like Howard. .
I will remember Howard fondly. He had an uncanny ability to be stern and sweet at the same time. He always went out of his way to give me good advice, sprinkled with some wry humor, when I ran for office. The TMBC will never be the same without him. Miami Beach has lost one of its last few fine wise men. My sincere condolences to his family.

I will miss Howard's big smile he always shared with everyone. And the classic pictures he took of me at meetings. He had a wonderful way of capturing a personality with his camera. My condolences to the family and all his loved one. He was a treasure that will be missed a great deal.
