He lived up to his name. One happy guy. His love of life and his fellow human beings was contagious. He enriched each life he touched.
The memory that our family has of Happy stems from an unfortunate incident that happened when our daughter started driving. As she cruised down our street one evening, she hit Happy's truck with a pretty good clip. True to his nature, he handled the situation in a way that made a lasting impression. No anger, no negative comments at all. All he said is "I was young once - we all make mistakes". This world needs more people so full of grace.
