Stempel , Lawrence Dr. Lawrence Stempel, 49, of Weston, FL and Westhampton Beach, NY died suddenly Friday morning from cardiac arrest. Dr. Stempel, obstetrician and gynecologist was Chief of the OB-GYN Dept. at Memorial Hospital W Read Obituary
I met Dr. Stemple in early 2000 he always had such a present and a wonderful bedside manner. He often made fun of my accent but in a good way. He was one of those doctors that ALWAYS took your call and addressed your concerns. He literally saved my life when my fibroids erupted and I was going into septic shock. I will miss him tremendously.

I had the pleasure of meeting doctor stemple around 1995 the first time i meet him he had this warm spirt that would light up a room.When i was going through some medical issue he did not stop until he took care of the problem i had. The last time i had the pleasure of talking to him was when i had a office visit on June 29, 2011 he was so happy about going on vacation with his family and to find out he will no longer be here just saddens me he will for ever be the worlds best obgyn.##imported-begin##antoinette mckinney##imported-end##
I met Dr. Stempel working for Sheridan Healthcorp. I worked with the company for 10 years and when it came time to get pregnant and had a hard time, a friend, Maryjane(his office manager) told me Dr. Stempel was the man, lol. Well sure enough he was. Dr. Stempel had a way of making my situation seem not so bad. He always made me laugh and he made me feel as if I was his one and only patient. Since the first time I met him I felt there was something special about him. He delivered both my girls who were only one year apart so I was at his office for like two years straight! I am extremely grateful to him that he allowed God to use him in such an amazing way. To bring God's little blessings into this world. My little blessings from God were made a reality by way of him and I am forever grateful. My deepest sympathy to his family. May God's love enfold you and your family during this difficult time.
