Larry Arthur Stempel's Obituary
Stempel , Lawrence Dr. Lawrence Stempel, 49, of Weston, FL and Westhampton Beach, NY died suddenly Friday morning from cardiac arrest. Dr. Stempel, obstetrician and gynecologist was Chief of the OB-GYN Dept. at Memorial Hospital West, Chief of Gynecology of Memorial Hospital Pemboroke, and a clinical professor at Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University as well as University of Miami. He is survived by Leslie, his wife of 22 years, his children Joshua,18, Lea,14, his parents Eileen and Stuart Stempel, his sister Randi Stempel Riese, and brother Mark Stempel, and their families. Services wil be held at the Levitt Weinstein Chapel 3201 NW 72 Avenue Hollywood, Florida. Donations may be sent to Jewish Federation.
