Larry Glanz
My name is Larry Glanz and I met Marlowe at Summerdale Day Camp as a child from maybe 7-11 years of age. Marlowe and I became great friends at camp during the summertime, but didn't really know each other during the regular season as he went to Moore Elementary School and I went to Spruance Elementary School (both in NE Philly).
I was at a NEHS class pool party this past Tuesday 7/14/26 and met another fellow camper (Joel Spigel) whom was also friends with both Marlowe and myself. He texted me a photo from camp of all of us campers one season and I couldn't believe it. I was sitting bottom row, 3rd from the right and Marlowe was sitting just to the right of me. My camp buddy Joel S. was sitting middle row, 2nd from the left.
i posted this to my FB feed and fellow NEHS class of '69 classmate Howard Zeitz told me he and Marlowe we best friends at Moore school. Unbelievable small world.
Our hearts go out to his family and friends over his passing. ❤️❤️
