Gina Lippman
In 1973, Paul offered that I should come to Miami when I graduated EMU and begin my teaching career there. He met me at the airport and took me to my interviews. I got a job and moved into Nina and Paul’s house for a few months. A few months later, I went on a blind date and met my future husband. In 1992, Paul and Nina took Bob and I and our two daughters, Erica and Lisa into their home for seven months when our home was destroyed due to Hurricane Andrew.
I really think if you took a poll of every relative that Paul has you would be amazed how many of us have lived in their home at some time!
Paul also enhanced my love of photography. He would critique my photos that I would bring him. I remember when Bob and I eloped, Nina screamed in surprise at my mother in laws house for the reception. Paul of course had his camera but excused himself to go buy more film.
When we renewed our vows, Paul was our photographer. I asked him if he could take a group picture of all eighty guests standing on three different levels. He said, “of course” and he did. That taught me that at every important event, I can take a group picture no matter the situation
We will miss you Paul
With love,
Gina and Bob
